Implementing quality assurance and structured systemically at UB has been developed by the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) UB.

The method used is a modification in the SPMI between BAN-PT accreditation forms, ISO 9001: 2008, and Excellent Service Kemenpan. Implementation of SPMI at the UB conducted by the Center for Quality Assurance (PJM), while at the Faculty conducted by the Quality Assurance (GJM) and the level of Department / Study Program conducted by the Quality Assurance Unit (UJM).

Duties and functions

Duties and functions of each component within the organizational structure outlined in Dean SK 005 / SK / J10.1.17 / KP / 2009.

Head of Department:

  • Develop policies to achieve the vision of the Department of Nursing
  • Strategic planning, operational and annual work program the Department of Nursing as work guidelines
  • Responsible for the entire operations of the Department of Nursing
  • Responsible to the UB School of Medicine to the overall operations of the Department of Nursing
  • Fostering the performance of the entire staff of faculty and staff within the Department of Nursing
  • Initiating and developing cooperation in the field of nursing outside of UB and UB both at home and abroad
  • Develop a networking program with the hospital network

Quality Assurance Unit

  • Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the tasks performed by the staff of the Department of Nursing UJM
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Department of Nursing UJM task and report to the Chairman of the Department of Nursing.

Secretary of the Department:

  • Coordinate operational activities include kesekretatian, academic administration, professional administration, educational facilities, personnel, finance, student affairs, and venture.
  • Provide input to the Chairman of the Department, whether requested or not
  • To coordinate with oordinator-level coordinator in the Department of Nursing
  • Responsible and report to the Head of Department

Curriculum team

  • Prepare and develop the academic curriculum and structure of the profession in the Department of Nursing
  • Evaluate the academic curriculum and the profession that has been applied every five years
  • Develop learning objectives of each course
  • Sort the contents of each course
  • Develop methods of learning and the time it takes each of the courses
  • To coordinate with the academic oordinator on curriculum implementation in the course of each semester

Academic Education Team

  • Setting up a new admissions
  • Doing organization with oordinator curriculum team on the implementation of the curriculum in each semester
  • Plan and implement appropriate academic education with a curriculum that has been established
  • In cooperation with the department secretary needs to prepare for administration and facilities / infrastructure related to the implementation of academic education
  • Coordinate with the entire head of the departments within the Department of Nursing to develop a schedule, use of facilities and infrastructure skill lab
  • Coordinate with the entire head of the departments within the Department of Nursing to develop a schedule of lectures
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities of the academic education
  • Prepare an annual evaluation of students

Professional Education Team

  • Coordinate with the department chair about the preparation and implementation of the profession
  • In cooperation with the department secretary needs to prepare for administration and facilities / infrastructure implementation of professional education
  • Coordinate, monitor and maintain the smooth throughout professional education activities in collaboration with the chair of the department
  • Prepare pre-graduated and graduated nurses
  • Preparing nurses oath
  • Prepare and release of student graduation
  • Responsible and report the results of its work with the Head of Department

Chairman of the Department

  • Coordinate with team oordinator academic curriculum and to prepare lectures in academic stage
  • In collaboration with a team of curriculum and oordinator profession to prepare for the implementation phase of education in the profession nurses
  • Coordinate with team oordinator academic curriculum and to prepare lectures in the classroom over the course
  • Develop departmental development activities through research, training and continuing education
  • Responsible and report its results to the Chairman of the Department
